body shops that finance paint jobs title is pretty self explanatory haha . Im looking to do a colour change on my eclipse but I would prefer to finance it . Anyone know of any shops that will do financing ? |
I've never heard of any body shop providing financing. I know some stereo shops have done or possibly still do financing but that is always done through a third party finance company that molests your wallet with crazy interest rates. I suggest a line of credit using your car as collateral to secure the debt. By doing that you will end up with a much lower interest rate |
It really isn't worth going into debt to have your car painted. Best save up the money first then have the car painted. |
A long time ago (roughly 10 years ago) Maaco had a free (no setup fee) 0% interest 12month financing thing going. They teamed up with National Bank Mastercard and what they would do is split your paint job total in 12, and then charge you whatever the amount was every month on your new mastercard. As long as you paided the balance in full every month, it was no interest. There may be some shops that do something like this still but like mentioned above, I would advise against financing a paint job. |
Do Maaco jobs even last 12 months? lol |
^ :haha::haha: only time will tell |
Mine actually looked good for about 3 years and that wasn't really taking care of it. The car wasn't worth a $2500 job so doing the prep myself (removing all trim and such) and getting the higher end of their package (I think it was $800 including taxes at the time), it turned out pretty good. I would never take nicer cars there, but for a cheap winter car or a daily driver you just want looking better, I wouldn't be afraid to go there again. |
Get with the program who the hell paints cars these days just get it vinyled |
^ ugh...for real? |
