Where to get a Berry unlocked?
 

I have a Javelin (locked to Rogers) and my boyfriend has a Storm (locked to Telus). We need to get our phones unlocked before we leave to work in Australia. Where would you recommend to get it done? And approximately how much does it cost?

twitter promotion = $5 and $20 respectively.. you can do it yourself. it's really easy. i unlocked my sis' javelin(rogers) in 2 mins.

It really is quite easy. When I won my unlock code from crackberry, the company who sent me the unlock code also sent me detailed instructions. Very easy, very quick, and cheaper than paying someone else to enter in a code.

Theres a Rogers store in metro town (downstairs, where you come in from the skytrain) and at the back of the store there is a repair store, I had to go there and get my Bold white unlocked, they did it in 15 min, charged me 60$...

I just tried this one. I paid $5 through paypal, but they haven't sent me any instructions through email or sms yet. How long is it supposed to take?

I bought mine from another online site, but mine took a little more than one business day for them to send me an unlock code. :)

Perfect! I just received the email. I followed the instructions page (which conveniently had pictures), and now my phone is unlocked! That was super easy. And the best part is, it only cost me $5 :thumbsup:

I used cellunlock.net to unlock my 9700. I used a promo code from the crackberry site, charged me $10 after the promo (they had a discount already, plus the promo, it ended up being hella cheap) and got the code in literally 15 mins on my email. best service I've experienced so far.

I did unlock through mobile in canada's free unlock promotion. It took like less than 2 mins to complete.

So easy to do.
