Good Jobs as Students?

Aside from co-op, what are some good job choices for students in university?

I know that being a banker is one...

i think banker jobs are hard to get if you're still in undergrad..maybe if you're well-rounded in your 3rd/4th year but i havent met any 1st/2nd year with a banking job.

Work for a prof at your area of study.. then you get 2 advantages 1. union pay 2. if you have good repertoire with your prof, it opens doors in terms of letter of recommendation etc.

untrue... at my branch (TD), most of my co-workers were 1st years or straight outta highschool. Depends on your previous experience and the person doing the hiring...

my manager prefers that people apply online AND in person so she gets to chat with them to see what they're like first. Maybe that's something that other managers do.

You guys' argument is pointless since probably you have different definitions of "banker jobs". Yes you can definitely get to work at a bank in any year of your university but most likely you'll be working as customer service rep. When you apply for co-op, that's a different story.
