Maybe he'll finally get interviewed after the game.. since he is the captain and all
I wonder what Brodeur is thinking on the bench? Probably swearing at the team for giving Luuuuu so much Goal support!! 8 and 7(so far).. and he got 3 and 2,,

uhh...is that even a question?
only thing im kinda disappointed in is that they shoulda gave the penalty shot to rick nash, for god sakes the man is trying so hard to score, poor guy keeps getting screwed over
like in torino his shot went in even though gerber saved it, but his glove was clearly in the net LOL

How much can you take out of Lu's performance against Norway and Germany anyway? Canada could of had Corey Hirsch in net and the results would of been the same.

thing is though, if they were gonna play brodeur, why not just give him this game as a practice session for tmrw? seems rather pointless to play lu and then go back to brodeur imo...

Good win... Canada has some good momentum going into tomorrows game vs. RUSSIA. Babcock has to make a smart decision and keep Luongo in net... would be nervous if Brouder plays...
Besides the goalies Canada has to play faster and shoot more not just make fancy passes.

It would make no sense in putting Luongo in net if they were going to switch back to Brodeur.

I'm also hoping Pronger's minutes are limited tomorrow, hoping Babcock doesn't match him up as the shut down D against Ovie's line. IMO, Pronger has looked the worst out of all the Canadians

The only way I see Brodeur back is to give him a night off as we all know we will win against Germany and not have brodeur play back to back.... but after the fans were luuuu'ng all night long, then there will be riots tomorrow if we lose and brodeur in net.

I'm all for Brodeur getting the start tomorrow because he's rested, and re focused , and he's faced the tougher opponents, and made some great saves against them (The USA to be specfic).
I'm not trying to bash Luongo, but he didn't have a great game. He was half decent. But with the way the team in front of him played, that was all he needed to be.
