Mechanic
 

Anybody know an honest/reasonable mechanic/shop in Langley. Daughter was quoted $1400 for rear brake overhaul on her pos dodge, after spending $800 with the guy for the same work 2 years ago. He said it was because the car had sat idle for so long......the longest it sat idle was over Christmas...driven to work in Bby every day. I'm in Kelowna and cant do much to help her from here.

Langley? Try a place called Simon's Automotive. My brother used to go there all the time and always had good results. The guy who runs it is really good and pretty up front with what needs to be done.

Also, strangely enough, try the Speedy on 200th and 64th. I've always heard good things about them, both with their reputation and their prices.

Speedy's all went bankrupt, so no go on that suggestion.

Odd that. The one I'm referring to is still 100% open, at least as 4:30pm today when I drove by it after work.

......on second thought maybe she will still need a good mechanic.

if she's up to the drive, we will be more then happy to look after her automotive needs.
