| typing Chinese in Windows 7
Hey i need help
I've been trying to figure out how to type simplified Chinese using changjie code not pingyin. Is it even possible? because the person I'm trying to set the computer up for doesn't know pingyin and doesn't know traditional chinese.

how can someone not know how to read traditional when they know simplified?
what version of win7 do you have, if it's english version of ultimate they can change it.

what version of Windows 7? i thought that you had to ADD the language packs on if you installed the OS as english the first time, just like Vista needed to have the languages added.

If you know Simplified Chinese, chances are you will automatically know how to read Traditional Chinese

however, knowing traditional, doesn't mean you know simplified. I know traditional, but can't recognize simplified to save my life.
