Handsfree suggestion Thinking getting in car bluetooth adaptar for my navi or buy a jawbone bluetooth headset. Now the problem is with in car bluetooth adaptar, would it pick up the background noise which makes the person on the other line having difficulty to hear you. Im concern with my exhaust noise issue, would headset be more suitable? BTW come to think of it, in car bluetooth are brocasted thru your speakers. Now wouldnt the person on the other line hear themself talking and echoing their own voice because broadcasting thru the speakers? |
I have the Pioneer F500BT navi and the device itself comes with bluetooth, but the other person can't hear shit. I had to buy the additional microphone for it which is now clipped onto the visor and everything's fine. I've had no complaints about them hearing themselves or any trouble with background noise. I've also heard some really good things about the jawbone. Good luck |
Most stereo kits are able to isolate the noise coming in through the speakers. I have a Blueant BT pad I wouldn't recommend it incoming audio is good but the pickup mic kinda sucks. Been told I sound very tinny and quiet. Posted via RS Mobile |
I say go with the Jawbone |
I got the blackberry one. Works with my iPhone and cheaper than jawbone. Works well for me Posted via RS Mobile |
i use a jawbone myself instead of a navi wth bluetooth, it's just that i dun like ppl in my car hear every single call i receive just thought i did bring this up~...also if u r using a handfree, make sure u get an extra battery for ur phone, since some phone do drain battery with bluetooth on |

^ went with this one http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...694a533933en02 Works beautifuly with my JVC NX7000 7" navi no echo, and person able to hear my clearly despite my exhaust sound. So i was really satisfied. with that said, im still planning to pick this up in the next month or so, just so when im in the house or walking i dont have to hold my phone while i talk http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...7049918ddaen02 |
^ oh one of those. I'm using the one with my w505 and it sucks! the other person hears my engine/exhaust more then me... |
^ this one? http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Alpine%2...deo:1995350907 i was aiming for that one too, but its hella pricey. Even tho i heart Alpine their 7" screen was $1000 with no navi. Navi was extra $500 + for a blackbird plug in or sth W505 is the alpine deck model, so you are running Alpine's bluetooth adaptar? surprised it'd suck. I read a lot of reviews online, it really comes down to where you place your mic. Mine is right behind the rear view mirror. |
^ no I got the w505 with the blackbird, I'm actually trying to sell it cause I want to get the new pioneer 920. I got my mic where my visor/pillar is so it's a good place, but just doesn't sound that good. |
guess u are hooped than |
