Was it just me or was the bus going MUCH faster than the flow of traffic (and possibly the limit)? Look at how fast he hits that first dark brown van.

I think its required in Taiwan to act as a silent witness to car crashes and to act as a security feature for bus riders and the driver (as there are also cameras inside the bus) I don't remember why exactly they started installing these, but I remember a couple years back I saw a news broadcast saying that they're starting to put these features on most of their fleets now.

Well in the news clip it said that the bus possibly did not leave sufficient reaction time between him and the car ahead of him or didn't break. And the traffic jam was possibly caused by an earlier accident.
