StylinRed 02-18-2010 08:05 PM

that's insane...

i knew the screens were used and all; like on the news when the correspondents pretend they're out on the balcony in iraq, they actually showed how they used the screen once, where they were inside the building.. and just imposed the balcony view(which should be a real credibility issue). But i didn't expect them to use it to such a degree... geez especially for those set in the city shows

i would have thought filming on the street would be cheaper

insane

I've got a buddy that works a motion control unit and all he ever sees is green screen. his job looks cool but in reality its pretty 'drab'.

Orion 02-18-2010 10:20 PM

wow the panarama shot was awesome

falcon 02-18-2010 10:59 PM

having actually worked on many different sets, yes... they do use that much green screen. at least for any legitimate production. low budget stuff is all live.
