Where do you file income tax?

Anywhere cheap and precise?

I went to H&R block, but they charge up to $70. Money mart charges a percentage.

Best way is to do it yourself either manually or using one of those programs. Doing it yourself is super easy especially if there aren't too much complicated stuff. It's it's a matter of your income for the year plus possibly some rrsp contributions or something it's a piece of cake.

It's not robbery if you don't want to do it yourself. I do mines at home. I just buy Quicktax. For people who download and "send" it to Netfile. Be prepared to get caught. :lol

johny 02-20-2010 11:21 AM

illicitstylz 02-20-2010 11:44 AM

quicktax will keep track of everything sent off, otherwise they wouldn't know when the limit for each copy is reached. (I think it's 8 returns per copy)

illicitstylz 02-20-2010 03:36 PM

So basically if the pirated quicktax you have generates a key in which it's been used for more than 8 returns*n you'll be flagged is what you're saying?

Can't you just get the taxes done through your pirated quicktax, and mail it instead, therefore bypassing any checks by netfile?

Yes you can do that and that's what most people do. The software helps out big time in calculating your returns.
