Hey Majin, I know you use Nikon, but are the lenses you posted above available for Canon mount too? I've read about the 85mm f/1.4 being available for Canon, but that Tokina 16-28 certainly looks good as well.

From the normal sigma trend, N+C should come first with Pentax/Alpha mount to follow soonish.
So yes, they should be available for Canon mount.
The 85mm F1.4 certainly looks interesting. But I think it's more interesting for Canon ppl than Nikon. The price gap between 85mm F1.8 and 85L F1.2 MKII is quite steep. The Sigma will be just right in there. But for Nikon, the going rate for a good used copy of 85mm F1.4 seems to be 850 +or- 100. So, unless this lens is price at 700 or less, I'd rather go with the Nikon instead.
The new Tokina is weird range IMO. They should have made it 16-35 instead of 16-28. Unless I see some spectacular results, maybe a used 17-35 F2.8 AFS is a better option.

I think it's to keep production costs down. And it's probably some type of copy of their 11-16 |

Anyone know when they expect to release these lenses to the market? I'm eyeballing that 70-200 2.8 OS! Looking to buy some new lenses sometime soon.
Looks promising with the 4 stop OS.

Looks promising with the 4 stop OS. | are there any hands-on reviews for the new siggy? I can't seem to find any, and if it's received well I may look at it since the canon is just so expensive |

I know that. but sometimes there are "reviews" on pre-production models- or at the very least a hands on for some first impressions. We're just excited that's all. |

yeah i know! price is not attractive since you can get a new one down from ADORAMA for 1420USD. they made it at least a 14-28mm, then that would have been something to think about
