my fav app is OpenOffice, it's free and its so much cleaner than MS Office

Covering the Keyboard on a MacBook is a BAD idea. They keyboard is the air intake for the MacBook. By covering it you will have a greater chance of overheating and killing it in the long run.

Thanks for suggestions. I'm downloading those apps right now
Any more suggestions for MUST-HAVE Apps?

Pick up an external silicon keyboard, external mouse, and external monitor to use where it will get dirty ...

London Drugs has some nice skins for Macbooks to keep the chassis from getting dirty ...

uTorrent - Download torrents
Perian - Codec pack
Crossover - Run Windows programs on in OS X w/o Windows (very handy for using MS Office (the Mac version sucks) and playing games)
Firefox or Opera - Because Safari sucks
Skype - Video chat that's cross-platform compatible and widely used

you can get those covers that cover around the keyboard, and the trackpad and button. they only like 10 bucks over the net.

I tried to look for skins at London Drugs but they don't have the right generation for my macbook.
I prefer buying local though. I can't buy online because I have no credit card.

Anyone got suggestions for brand?
there are a few brands for keyboard & trackpad protector.
I'm looking for top quality brand that last forever.
I'm using 13" Macbook unibody, not sure what generation though. I got it about 8 months ago.
And I'm also looking for a program that download songs
I'm currently using frostwire but I can't download any kind of songs since it always say Connecting or Need More Source.

Iceman_2K 03-08-2010 05:19 PM

I just go to rlslog.net and torrent what I want....i don't use programs like frostwire.
