video bypass
 

i followed a DIY online of how to bypass the safety feature in my car that restricts videos to be played while my car is in motion (only parked with Ebrake on)

the videos are played through my video ipod, so the instructions say to cut the ebrake and motion sensor wire and ground them. I cut and taped them off however it didnt work

and now they wont even play with the ebrake on. is it because I didn't ground the wires? or i skipped a step? should i reconnect the cut wires?

The first thing people will ask you before they can help you is:

1. What head unit (deck) are you using?
2. What vehicle is it in?
3. Was it professionally installed or was it your cousin who did the install?

If the DIY instructions said ground the two wires, why did you not ground the wires? Or did I misunderstand your post...............
