Quick Question on Chen's Shanghai restaurant

Question, when does it open again?

I know the owner went away with her family back to China during the Olympics. I recall it said she was going to be back March 1 or something. i called numerous times today and it didn't seem like they pick up, which they usually do.

Anybody know the exact date they are going to open again?

What was the original question?

Last time I tried to go, it was closed. :(

is this one on Richmond close to Richmond center?
if so, then it's closed until March 8th or something..
I went there the other day.. and they had posting saying it'll be closed until then..

Its on the corner of Cooney and Landsdowne. Its pretty good, gets busy and its a bit pricier then Chen's.

I still prefer Chen's though cause its easier to get a seat lol.

I went to Shanghai Wonderful on two occassions. It can get very busy and when it gets busy, the quality of food is sacraficed. Parking can be a real pain sometimes.

I would personally suggest other Shanghainese restaurants in the vicinity.

I went to "Yi jee dang" at the Save On mall, it's regarded as one of the top shanghai restaurants, but it's meh for me... the waitresses there are snobby as hell
