zipia.net is good if you want clothes that will wear out in a week

Hey guys
have any of you here ordered pants from zipia.net before? The sizes seem rather skeptical to me... I'm usually a 31 here and according to the website that's a medium. From personal experiences, korean designed pants usually fit very small, and medium seems a little small. I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me some advice. Thanks.

Fobman 03-22-2010 12:14 PM

i wear size 28 for true religions here

korean jeans i wear size 30

danlee78 03-23-2010 01:21 AM

I'm korean, and i get my clothes from Korea...but u can easily get them here too via this site...

http://www.yesstyle.com/en/home.html

there's Korean, Japanese, Chinese styles...hats, jeans, u name it they got it

Professir 03-24-2010 01:47 PM

danlee, in no way am i trying to offend you, but to say www.yesstyle.com is overpriced would be a huge understatement. There are actually identical items on yestyle and zipia, only difference being yes style quadruples the price. terrible deal.

C.Dub 03-24-2010 04:22 PM

^shit is expensive

ddalbowang 03-25-2010 12:30 AM

very true, and i'm not offended in anyway

i'm just use to this site

i think yesstyle.com has a lot of korean fashion, but mostly its not about where they get their clothes, its how they dress and the way they mix and match clothing together.

yesstyle isnt for big people to shop on lol...my friend got something in xl and it turned out being around a medium size

True, but some things on Zipia seem to just be knockoffs and doesn't look anything like the picture.

Cheapest + Largest selection is Gmarket. =]

Medium is small then?

ye I don't see a lot of size small in their....

Professir 04-14-2010 01:34 PM

wheres G-market?

and also... hows the quality of the shoes sold on zipia?

RunningFree 04-24-2010 07:09 PM

Also take into account the models proportions... as much as you want the style, can you rock it well?

The dude in the hat is probably about 5'11 + and has a decent physique. A lot of these new breed Korean guys are damn tall and well-built... quite infuriating actually. A friend of mine did a brief modeling stint in Korea awhile back... he's about 6'2, barely works out and somehow manages to be pretty buff. Sucks when I have to slave at the gym to look decent.

Anyway, a lot of things don't translate well to guys who are on the shorter side, or have shorter lower bodies... or who border on the more muscular side... or are way too skinny.

Pick and choose, good luck!

Anyone use the English portal of Gmarket before?

fs604 02-21-2011 08:36 PM

yesstyle or zipia, both really good. However, yesstyle did take quite a while for it to ship.
(like 3weeks)
