the bclc thing says

only one of my matching line hit the bonus

do i still get 15 or just 5?

each line is separate but
you need 2 matching numbers and a matching bonus number so 3/7 for 5$

if you got 3numbers out of 7, then you get 5$ for each line that gets 3/7

ocne again the jackpot goes to ONT.

I honestly don't know why you'd be surprised that the winners are commonly from Ontario. There are almost 2 million more people in the GTA alone than in all of BC...

Ontario has about 40% of the population of Canada. They have almost three times more people than BC.

That's why you see so many winners from Ontario.

Odd's of winning the lotto max is 1: 85,900,584

BCLC uses a lower number based on a $5 play having 3 lines 28,633,528 (85,900,584/3 lines=28,633,528). But, this isn't how probability works is it?

Also, I remember reading somewhere that if you use quick pick, these odds don't apply? is this true? I'm a little shady on my probability, so if anyone knows... thanks.

there's nothing tricky about it.

probability is 1/14 000 000 or 1/86 000 000 for lotto max just because of the different type of combinations. It's no different from rolling a die when you know there are 6possibilities of all equal chance of appearing.

if the lotto 6/49 were to be played 14million times, there is a good chance(67% i believe) that it will match one of your numbers right now.

it's like flipping a coin. it's possible that you flip heads 5times in a row but if you were to flip a coin a billion times; chances are that 50% results in heads
