Alex and Curtis are opening up their own shop today. Glad to know there are two really trustworthy guys to work on our cars again! :buttrock:

I just drove by the old Advance location and it's called J-Line Tires now.

hmm i think one of the guys who worked at advance works or was working at the ford dealership in maple ridge

my cousin got a ride home when he brought his car in; said the guy driving him was telling him about how he worked at a great shop with great people and one day the boss came in and fired everyone and decided to do something totally different and sell tires

story sure sounds like it

i only knew of ken and shoei, and havnt gone to advance since they left long ago.

Ken and Shoei were the front desk guys and sometimes help out in the back...Alex and Curtis were the guys that F/T the shop area after Ken and Shoei left...:)

every time i saw him he's working on a car.

I went to advance once... I didnt expect it to last long, what a bad "performance" shop that was

the last time i asked, ken was no longer (publicly) in the automotive business.

i was cleaning out my room and foudn one of ken's old r-spec cards from back in the day... sigh. memories :thumbsup:
