Disputing the fine of a ticket I've disputed the fine of my violation ticket and have a court date in a few months. I can either attend the hearing or fill out a dispute form. What are the pros/cons for both. I just want to maximize my chance at lowering my fine or points. Thanks! |
You won't lower the points, only the fine. |
And the fines on some VTs can NOT be lowered...speeding and excessive speed have minimum fine levels for each catagory. The only reduction would be the $25 for paying early. |
you can't LOWER the fine per se, but you can ask for a lowered fine due to personal circumstances eg// student loans, in debt, financial issues or a longer term of payment. |
