Look at it closely? isn't it obvious. But hey, it is free and you can try it out today. Maybe you should take a closer look at the photoshop video. Even the guy in the video said it is a "good starting point".

Ulic Qel-Droma 03-27-2010 10:31 AM

first question, how much is this gonna cost?

second question, when will it show up on piratebay? LOL!

but honestly, as a guy that isnt into photography and barely uses photoshop, is it even worth shelling out that kinda money?

I'm starting to support products as i transition from broke ass student to broke ass worker, like shelling out money for windows 7 (the first windows ive ever bought), but, PS? fuck... im guessing they don't give free upgrades haha...

Senna4ever 03-27-2010 07:44 PM

Full version of Photoshop is around $900.

You know while the feature is cool you have to remember that those pictures are carefully selected to work well with that feature.
Its gonna be like any of the other fancy features. Sometimes it works... Sometimes it doesnt.
The people that know how to take photos and work photoshop to get the results they want will always come out ahead. Its not like your average joe can just go out and take some pictures and mess around in photoshop a bit and turn out professional photos. In fact the average joe is better off not using photoshop at all.

Ulic Qel-Droma 03-29-2010 11:54 AM

9... 00... bucks... :S

Probably not worth it for the consumer...that's why Photoshop Elements exists.

Something tells me they disablet that. It did a good job with the hair. Oh well, Some kid will program the content aware fill to be better with boobs I'm sure.

muteki 04-15-2010 10:37 AM

Yeah I have CS5-beta, content aware isn't as 'witchery' as it seems haha.
It really depends on the image you're using, the ones they used just happens to work great with content aware.

1exotic 04-16-2010 08:57 PM

Is CS5 beta pretty much the actual program, or will CS5 have more features?
not sure If I should delete CS4 extended and get this instead.

skyxx 04-16-2010 11:53 PM

Wow, Content aware Tool is pretty awesome as you can see. It made 3 boobs out of 2!!!

silva27 04-17-2010 10:48 PM

a must get!

jtanner_ 04-17-2010 11:04 PM

Definitely a crazy new feature... I'll probably finally be upgrading from cs2 hahah

SkinnyPupp 04-19-2010 07:39 PM

I was just playing around with the beta that's out there.. I don't know if it's because it's a beta, but the content aware fill really isn't nearly as good as they make it out to be in the video. Most of my results are more like the "joke" one posted above. I'll wait until the final version comes out before deciding whether it sucks though

1exotic 04-22-2010 12:25 AM

^ A lot of people are misunderstanding how content aware works... it's exactly the same thing as the clone stamp tool, but instead it just automatically fills in the selected area based on the surroundings. Using the clone tool you fill/cover up/remove something manually doing it piece by piece in CS4 and the older photoshop versions...
In that picture above for example, it can't just create part of the tits and nipples... it would have to exist there in the first place... Also in that video he's removing things or covering them up with something that already exists in the picture...

I haven't tried CS5 yet... probably won't till real version comes out since kinda know what to expect.

Kim Jong Un 04-22-2010 07:11 AM

just wait til google release their photoshop... content aware fills that scan the entire image database for most appropriate bare tits LOL
