Power Inverter

Hey do any of you guys know if hooking up a power inverter to the same line that my amps connect into is bad? I have 0 gauge running to a 4 way splitter, if I were to hook up a power inverter to the splitter would that be ok? I'm looking @ running around 150-300 watts to charge my laptop and external harddrive on the go.

Yes, that would be perfectly fine. Just make sure you turn off the inverter when its not in use. Or you can use a 30 amp relay switched on by ignition to turn the inverter on.

Crap forgot about that, so I just need an inverter with an on/off or a 30amp relay to anything that turns on with my ignition?

Pretty much. The relay thing would be a lot more convenient.
I am sure any of the sponsors here would be able to do that for you.
