Next Step in build. Need advice.

Okay, so I got myself a 96 ek hatch and need some help with my next planned mod. I have gotten my suspension done and converted my car to disc brakes so I think its time for some engine work.

So by engine work I mean swap and I have a certain in mind as well, b20vtec. I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a shop that has been known for building these engines reliably?

Also I tried to look up numbers for a "stock" b20vtec and they seem all over the place. I see some people saying 160-170HP while i see some saying 190-220HP. Now for me the latter seems pretty damn high so I was wondering if any local guys here running these engine have dynoed at?

Any suggestions or other engine ideas are welcomed.

depends if you get your hands on a b20z or b20b. b20b uses domed pistons yielding lower compression. b20z has flat top pistons yielding higher compression, but also has reliefs for the larger p8r heads valves
