This etiquette guide was distributed on flyers at the first official REVscene meet of 2003. I would be interested in hearing your feedback and suggestions. A suggestion for unofficial meets: ETIQUETTE FOR OFFICIAL REVscene.net EVENTS MEETS Please park your vehicle in a manner that is considerate to others. When meeting outside of your vehicles, try not to stand in the way of other traffic. Pick up after yourself and dont leave a mess. If you do not wish to have your photo taken by other members and possibly having these photos posted on the net, please park away from the group. CRUISES When traveling in large convoys, you are responsible for the person behind you. If others behind you become separated at a stop light, please make an effort to pull over in a safe place to wait for the convoy to catch up. Please do not disrupt traffic by stopping in a traffic lane. FRS (Family Radio Service) radios are invaluable for broadcasting directions to a convoy. The official REVscene.net channel is 12 sub 5. The official amateur radio frequency is 146.460 MHz simplex and 146.940 MHz (-600 KHz). DISCLAIMER REVscene.net discourages street-racing and dangerous driving. However, members are ultimately responsible for their own actions. __________________ |
WHY CANT WE ALL BE FRIENDS! |
I'd love to see a big meet with imports and muscle, can be a pretty cool merger. I'm sure there are members that enjoy both of best worlds. I think the biggest problem between both communities is lack of understanding between both groups. Biases exists between both groups; muscle cars = redneck burnouts and imports = rice cookers. I'm almost positive both groups have more in common than they think and that import guys and muscle car guys aren't so different. examples: -all like cars -all like women -all like speed -all have pride in their work -yes engines are different, but they're generally used for the same purpose for those who disagree with me, suck a fat cock |
Don't forget your black hoodies. |

open your fucking hoods ppl, domestics, imports, mustangs, civics...everything is made in china. if you came here to start shit, get the fuck out. if you came here to post up about the meet, then provide the details, and let the ppl decide if they want to go or not. burn outs are cool at the right place and at the right time. hell, if ur gonna make it a contest, at least do a good job at creating the event for it, and not a 1/2 ass job. |
