Anywhere good to play billiards on campus? LSC has a sweet table but restricted to Med.

took both. make sure you go to class and read the textbooks. lots of medical terms and drug names to remember for 300, and lots of theories/definitions for 309.

i was hoping to take it next year

as long as you are excellent at memorizing vocabs. the tests are just vocab to definitions and definitions to vocab.

hehe spotted Ultraman on blue civic today =D

In short, nowhere.

The only places I know with tables are restricted or suck. There's a good pool table in EOSM Room 308 but all the cues are broken. The Cheeze has a table that's kinda tilted but it's still okay and anyone can walk in and play, provided the building is open. There's also only one good cue so you'll have to share and most of the time you won't be able to find chalk. You mentioned LSC, but that room is locked most of the time.... There's one in 4th floor MacLeod in the ECE clubroom and it's decent, but every time I'm in there, there's a line up. They also have the sweetest graphite cues for everyone to use.

Zerius 04-27-2010 08:14 PM

mm Cheeze table isn't the greatest. McLeod table has the worst felt.

hmm... HID card cloning project anyone?

what would you say are the easiest 300-level Psyc courses? Already took 302, 307, and 314

they let you know if you get in as they go through the applications. Depending on your grades and how well written your supplemental was - I hope you applied for another faculty as backup (ie: science or arts)

i took 100 with hewitt...but almost 3 years ago
pure PITA

only 10% of his lecture is on the exam (that means you cant skip his class either)..the rest is on the textbook (yes you actually have to read page to page)

class average was like mid 60's..which is quite poor considering psyc 100 is considered an easy course.

not the greatest course, material is dry, boring, and redundant. I think Delongis is the only prof who teaches it, and her lecture notes are horribly unorganized.

that being said, it wasn't too difficult.
PSYC 307 still my fav by far. 309 is not too bad either

So I guess it won't be a GPA booster eh? lol...i thot it'd be easy cuz it's a 100 level course

Anyone know how much it is to park at UBC with Metres/Parking Metres on the streets? (Not Parking Lots)
