Euros*

InvisibleSoul 04-02-2010 11:18 AM

Is that only for cruising around the track, and not to race around it?

As of today, 19 Euros = $25.91 CAD. That's such a good deal!

Iceman-19 04-02-2010 11:40 AM

Thats my dream, to travel to Germany and rent a Porsche or something fun for a day on the Ring.

RCubed 04-02-2010 11:41 AM

There are a few general rules on the Nurburgring website, like you may only overtake on the left, no stopping on the track at anytime, and the speed limit is "as long as the driver of the vehicle can maintain control of the car, unless there is low visibility, then the speed limit is 50 km/h.

Speed limit sounds like standard autobahn rules to me.

I have that exact same flyer. Don't know where I put it however. It's been over 2 years since I've been to Germany.

No drifting too

I remember reading an article where a guy got banned for drifting

So all you need is a car and 19 Euros to do a lap? That sounds amazing!

it's for going as fast as you want and all you need is a valid drivers liscence

and the speed limit is I think as a minimum not a maximum

EmOne 04-02-2010 10:32 PM

i would crash and burst into flames around the first corner

supman7 04-02-2010 11:14 PM

don't be like this guy^

YouTube- Idiot crash his car 7seconds after entering the Nurburgring

kknater 04-03-2010 12:06 AM

The annual pass sounds pretty good. I'd buy that over a snowboarding pass.

It pays for itself if you decide to do more than 6 laps a month.

But then you'd probably have to spend more on tires.

TOPEC 04-03-2010 12:10 AM

^ and gas, and brakes, and maintenance stuff. it'll add up real quick.

There are track ready cars that you can rent to do the ring.
