How to install OSX? What do I need? How do I install it on a PC? (Core2duo + G31 chipset) Can I dual boot or I need a new HD? (currently the PC has one HD only) I am very lost here, my co-worker gave me a legit copy of OSX and I have sme copies from piratebay just in case, but I have no idea where to start. Please help |

Read the forums that Skinnypup posted - they will help you immensely. Keep in mind that not every machine will have drivers for it, so you may be looking online for ones that people have written for the device you need. Posted via RS Mobile |
Ah the whole hackintosh thing. I remember when I used to display my power to my friend who dumped 2k into a shiny macbook pro. I booted up my 1000 dollar laptop that played Team Fortress 2 AAAANNND ran OSX. boy did he shit his panties. |
I didn't know guys wear Panties? :gay: |
its always awesome to show people who buys a mac and you show him a hackintosh :haha: |
do I need a separate HD btw (no partition)? |
You can either partition or run a seperate Hard Disk. For the partition you need to do it as a raw partition as OSX has it's own HFS+ format |
