where to steam clean engine bay + underside of car? just asking. searched forums and cant find a proper answer. is there a place in town that steam cleans the engine bay and the underside of cars? had a huge oil leak in uncles car. i fixed it, but still oil all over the place in the engine bay and underside of car. let me know! |
for the engine, degreaser +garden hose all u need Underside, go to princess auto and get cans of brake cleaner for $2.99 when its on sale, go to a canadian tire parking lot, spray the hell out of the car and call it a day. I did that on my street once, left quite the stain haha Posted via RS Mobile |
sadly uncle doesnt want the brake clean method. he rather pay someone to get it steam cleaned. |
Then just tell him to leave it with you and you'll drop it off at the detailer. Go to Cambodian Tire, spray the hell out of it, then bring back to uncle and charge XXX dollars for the professional detail. |

Go to a detailer! |

I would not recommend steam cleaning the engine. With steam cleaning, the heat causes the connectors to expand and moisture gets in and corrodes the terminals. I have seen it happen a few times. |
P21S total auto wash. |

degreaser w/ pressure washer <- thats wat most detailer do.....they will leave engine running for ~30mins to dry the water............. |
