black hoods look pretty good imo, but depends on what colour...

IMO depends on the paint condition of the entire car. If it's well taken care of then gloss black top would look AWSOME on white cars.

the vancluderouver probably drives that orange prelude in the hall of shame :lol

Black vinyl will look good on some cars, but a CF wrap looks dumb. It looks like you're just a ricer.. unless you get a real cf roof of course..

man reading this thread is making me wanna get black glossy vinyl on my new white SI.....

Looks dumb? What's the difference in appearance of an actual CF roof and a CF wrapped roof?

Sorry, I guess it would have been more appropriate to say 'is dumb'; however, depending on the wrap, sometimes you can tell the difference..

Is dumb? What if you just like the look of carbon fiber? I don't race my car so I don't need weight reduction but I like the look of CF on a white car. Do you think CF looks bad? Do you think it doesn't change the appearance of the car at all and is used solely for performance? Do you think cars should only be modded for performance and not cosmetics?

Please explain to me what makes it dumb?

There is a difference between modding for cosmetics, and modding for cosmetics pretending to have something you don't.
