Olympics Asset Sale

Has anyone else stood in line like I have to get some of the Olympic stuff?

I got an Acer Travelmate 6592 laptop for $260, and a Panasonic 26" 720p LCD for $199.99

I went one 5th day of the sale.

Waited 1 hour

I thought it was a waste of time.
Unless you plan to get a TV/Laptop or maybe a couch, save your time.
It's not even that good of a deal IMO

Pure overpriced junk.

Duct tape for $5
Used snow shovels for $15
4L Window washer fluid for $4 or 5 bucks and a 1/4 filled one for $1.50
Extension cords that are hella overpriced
UFO Heat lamps for $150
Bunch of clothing, but mostly L, XL (not the ones you see at The Bay)
C Cell batteries for sale, some are wrapped in zip-lock bags
Umbrellas for $20-25 bucks. You can get better quality ones at IKEA for less than that!

But go there and find out for yourself if you want. Parking is on the side streets.

I went there on the Opening day, got there at 4:30am... and was 120th in line... Then still waited.. got in... yes most was garbage, the desktop computers and monitors were still available.. but no laptops or TV's left.

So yesterday I went again, and Got there at 2:30am... was 9th in line. Got my laptop and TV I missed out on day 1... and to be honest its not a bad deal. but yes everything was garbage.

$260 for 2.0ghz Dual core Centrino 2 gb-ram, 120hdd, Biometrics, Bluetooth, 15.4" Widescreen, dvd-rw, Webcam...

i assume only if you can find a laptop.

It's not an auction though right? it's just set prices and you pick up the stuff you want?
or is there a process you have to go through?

Thanks.

the laptop that you got has outdated specs and yea you'd pay that much for a similar one on craigslist
