I don't remember disrespecting any of your installs. Perhaps you should take a listen to this one then you can judge if it is 'weak'. Perhaps you are an IASCA judge? Or maybe thats just me and the four other guys that install at our shop that are 100% certified IASCA judges. I am sure the 11" Focals have great mid bass but where are your vocals coming from? A small titanium tweeter in the sail panel? Just curious...not trying to disrespect the install or anything. Looks good for show but..... Anyways, the guy wants a clean and incredible sounding system so thats what we can give him. I'm not sure that I can supply neons and sluts...lol |
seriously guys, cut it with the beef. You both work for sponsors, and both have the track record to prove your quality, no need for starting any beef! dont make me come down there and show u how a real system should be installed! |

Oh it's on now... hehe.. Plus you wouldn't want to piss off the iasca judges. |
Just friendly ribbing, well at least it's my attempt at it. So no need to get defensive or pissy. Now if I said that's weak lame shit man you could do better then I would expect some hurt feelings. Instead I said "Nice clean install". Oh and yes the "titanium tweeters" were in the pillar along with the matching four inch poly glass mids. The front stage was a three way based IIRC off the 270v3 kit but we swapped out the slim 5 for the slim 4 due to space constraints. A five would have looked gaudy in the pillar. It also has a polyglass center channel using the same components. |

Bottom line is, you took a jab at me and the way that I do installs. Installing car audio has been my passion for 20 years now and to have some 'stranger' come here and call my stuff weaksauce is just a straight up insult. It is about the most unprofessional thing that you can do and yes, I take it 100% personal. Maybe you should PM me next time if you don't like the way I install instead of trying to slam me here publicly or push my buttons. You may find that it makes you and your shop look better that way. Just a thought. |
