Got virus need to fromat what OS.
 

After trying everything under the sun I think it's time to back up and format. But I'm not sure what OS to install. It came with Vista but now I'm thinking windows 7 but I'm dot sure if my computer will handle it.

Specs
AMD 2650E 1.6 ghz
3 gis of ram
ATI Radeon x1250

What do yo think? Will Windows 7 run slower than Vista?

You'll be fine with Windows 7.

Windows 7 takes less to run than Windows Vista. It's also a much better OS. go 7.

Got a stupid windows redirect virus that won't go away.

Windows 7 requires less resources than Vista, so if anything, go with XP or 7.

In regards to the virus, have you tried using Malwarebytes?

Yep and spybot, Trojan remover, Ad aware, antivir, and a bunch of other stuff.

Maybe try buying your shit next time instead of pirating tainted software
