Good specs, but I have the exact same set up you have with 6 gb of ram and on a evga x58 board and got it for ~$1200 on craiglist + ncix sales.. The only thing that computer has going for it is that it looks cool and comes pre-built. You don't need a sound card with modern mobos.. I'd say if you don't mind spending extra couple hundred bucks, then just get it, it is a fair price.. a better option would be to find similar parts on CL or ncix sales for cheaper. |

2) Buy Win 7 and download other software 3) Hard Drive is slow, get a SSD as primary and 1T for storage 4) you don't need a sound card 5) Make sure your motherboard has USB 3.0 |
saw a acer desktop at bestbuy couple weeks going for $749, looks pretty loaded. intel core2 quad q8400 2.67ghz 8gb ram 750gb hdd nvidia gt220 windows7 home 64bit edit: checked today, all sold out |
What are you using this for |
i7-920 is outdated, its replaced by 930 already i'm pretty sure you can build a system with the same spec for less money |
