Hey mods, so i understand one of the better ways to get revenue for this site is through the ads, i don't have a problems with there being ads, but just with the content of the ads itself. If i try to go to an OFF-TOPIC forum, which is not the NSFW forum or anything, the ads are about "pay per minute" sex video's or something like that. i like going on rs at work or at school in my breaks, but i can't if these ads keep coming up. isn't there some sort of filter that can stop these ads from coming up in threads or forums that are not the NSFW forum?

I don't use ad blocker add ons on my browser, and nor do i want to.

we dont control the ads, the ads that are choosen by google, and they go by keywords.

thus the threads u are checking out, have keywords that google are looking for and thus are select the corresponding ad.

so basically, if someone writes "ass" it will show me "porn" ads... there's no way around it?

i guess ill just ahve to stop visiting from school/work :(

Actually we DO control the ads in the NSFW forum. If you are in the NSFW forum, you will see NSFW ads. If you don't like it, don't go to the NSFW forum.

I believe he was talking about off-topic forum.
guess you are outta luck..the admin only controls the NSFW forum ads.

There are no NSFW ads in the off-topic forum, only the NSFW forum. Google will not allow NSFW ads on their network. OP is just highly confused.
