it depends on what your final goal is... do you want to work in that field? go to medical school? get a phd? find a job?

A lot of the people in pharmacology plan to go on to med school.

not so much medical lab sciences though because that's more occupation-oriented

If you go with Med Lab sciences and you want to work in a clinical lab, ie hospital or a private lab, you'll have to go to BCIT and take their Med Lab tech program in order to get your CSMLS cert.
