Is it only possible to do air jumps for linking it with an air combo? I'm finding matchups against homo turtling projectile teams hard to beat.

didnt u just have to jerk the stick down then straight up to do an air jump before?

cant imagine that being taken out (if im recalling correctly that is)

IDK, I'm finding it hard to do them consistently compared to MvC2.

I find it a little different as well. Maybe I was just too darn used to the Dreamcast controller. It was easy to do that it became so natural.

yeah to super jump just press down then up. It doesn't work every time like it did in mvc2

So I just spent 3 hours trying to learn players, is it me or does it seem like this version is somewhat dumbed down compared to mvc1/2? There's only attack buttons and not separate punches and kicks. I still believe the best crossover game was MVC1 but that's impossible to find on PS.

times like this its almost impossible to get TE or even normal Madcatz fight sticks unless your paying for way over the price

fuck i remember walking in to ncix aberdeen a year ago and they had TE sticks on display, this is months before Super SF4 came out, i should have picked one up for $150

my suggestion is wait for the hype for MVC3 to go down, and see if anyone is selling from CL 2 months from now..

usually the ones that buys TE stick are the casual gamers, they will get sick of fighting games and sell them later.

im using the hori fight stick 3.. meh it gets the job done for me

fuck got owned by a really good Sentinel last night, barely used his storm and modoc.. i kept getting air combo'ed then to a super........ lol totally forgot there is way to counter air combos

You should check out http://store.gameshark.com. They've been having sales that put TEs at like 20-30% off. I'm not sure if the 20% off TE is still going. I got my MvC2 TE for $110. Only downside is you're going to have to ship to a US address.

CL had a shit load last time i checked... might not be TE but people were selling fight sticks.

game is wayyy too easy compared to mvc1/2 but still fun.. the special fx are awesome!!
