If you need to drool over one close up I have a mildly customized one in the shop right now. Amazing cars in almost all respects. And far more reliable then the RR.

Phil's right, Bentley is more reliable than a RR!

I just want a nice car- what is wrong with that?

So now another question...if range rover's are very unreliable what are other good suggestions? I don't really like the Cayenne...at all.

G class is okay but I prefer the Range Rover.

you guys are confusing me. Some are saying its reliable, some are saying it is not eeek

hchang 04-21-2010 09:00 PM

I can't tell whether this is a troll or not.

But... to answer your question, aside from the Range, and your dislike to Cayenne, I would get an Audi Q7. My friend has one of those and that thing's a tank.

Oh... and remember to post pics of yourself. ;)

Please get a Range Rover. So we can hear all about your problems.

I will look forward to new threads pertaining;

Whats a check engine light?

How much is too much for a faulty brake booster?

How do I turn my Overdrive On?

wow never knew mitsu and suzuki is down at the buttom along with RR

VW seems pretty shitty too yet some praise about them like god

Holy bejeezers! Porsche and Lincoln at the top! I would have expected Toyota/Lexus/Honda/Acura to be in the top 4!

I'm not really suprised with porsche being at the bottom... I don't see how buying a new porsche boxster (for example) for the price is attractive... I wouldn't even buy this car used.... and all the other new porsches above the boxster cost quite a lot new... and the only people (most) who drive boxster's are people who know nothing about cars and say fuck yeah man look at me I'm driving a nice porsche, but it's actually a plain piece of shit... and those would be women or some random guy.

edit: I thought the chart above was demand for cars or something.... lol..... fuck whatever.

Porsche is definitely more reliable. So far our Q7 had way more problem compare to the Cayenne

Had also owned a Mitsu SUV with 0 issues but only owned it for 9 months so its not really fair to compare.

All 1st owner so can't say it was the previous owner who mucked it up.

Can't really believe everything you read.

threezero 04-22-2010 02:21 AM

my land rover experience has been consistent with the graph above.

europeanonly 04-22-2010 02:53 AM

Really? Did you buy brand new or used? I would hope a range rover wouldn't have major issues in the first few years they sell lots of them so they can't be that bad...

right? :(

J____ 04-22-2010 03:00 AM

all my friends that have owned or own audis/vw's can tell you they'll agree with that graph lol.

Mugen EvOlutioN 04-22-2010 07:07 AM

Kim Jong Un 04-22-2010 07:16 AM

same with my buddies.....there is a reason Audi's resale values suck. I love the look of the new S4 though.....just wouldn't buy one.

Mugen EvOlutioN 04-22-2010 08:08 AM

lease one and gtfo afterwards

I leased a new freelander. granted its not the ballin RR but within the 3 yr lease i had numerous problem, many small annoying nuisance but also a few times where it left me stranded sumwhere because of alternator/battery/starter/etc problems. I was given a courtesy LR3 during one of my freelander's extended stay in repair, when i return it a few of the warning light lit up on the dashboard and wouldn't go away (things that i know shouldn't be on like hill descent mode) that was a recurring problem i had with my freelander as well.

in the end i'm glad it was lease and at the end of the lease i was so happy to say goodbye to it.

despite my problem with the land rover, RR is still one of my dream car and i would take a defender in a heartbeat! most likely lease though :p

lease is the best option for you anyways, judging by your financial situation you are likely the kind of person that would rather spent money to solve a problem than spent time.

I've driven a boxster yes... It's only my personal opinion.... Just basically saying that I wouldn't pay the amount for the car... I like porsche, just not a fan of the boxster. It is fun like you said, but not a fan of it.

Nope lol.

I've gotten to drive several porsches recently. I just don't like the boxster... not that it's a bad car in general, just don't like it, that's why I'm bashing it.

Hyde please. Post pictures of your 2010 Production Panameran, and your Cayenne II if you got it yet, also your 997.2 if you've recieved it also... oh and wait, you have a Q7 now? post pictures of that also! because everyone believes what you say, liar.

I agree, the porsche has an easier time driving onto my yacht,

also when I take the private back roads to my families private spaceport to launch our shuttle into low earth orbit for dimsum, its alot smoother of a ride

homey_v 04-22-2010 12:56 PM

lol this thread went for questioning to fake calling to a reliability chart.

i choose bentley if you can pay to maintain it

NeoDestinyZ 04-22-2010 01:49 PM

other than that, i'd probably settle with the Range Rover Sport Supercharged with some nice black wheels

loving this
