I went to Richmond automall at night once but the securiy guard didn't let me through. Do they let anyone through?

Also, is this the nvan automall?

no...if you dont drive a ricemobile or something that may resemble it....they'll let you in....i've been to richmond automall at wee hrs and never get any hassel....same with the North Shore one too...

i'm almost 100% sure this is the north van automall.
imo that place has one of the best lightings at night for shots like that.

you just need a good reason to be there (i think), and generally, you need be with somebody who actually works at the automall

Yeah this is the North Van automall, I have never had any problems with the security around the automall at late times. The guys I see there just sit in theirs cars and watch as you go by don't do much else most of the time. A very nice group of cars!
