I used to work with a bunch of immigrants from the middle east, almost all of them conservative muslims.

To my face they put on a minstrel show. "Oh lawdy lawdy. Yes sah, no sah"

Behind my back they complained about having a "white boss" and how "they" should be in charge.

They were all too pussy to do anything about it. A lot of talk.

Some people's strength and arrogance come from the actions of a few. Out of the millions of muslims world wide a small percentage carry out "fatwas" and other jihad-ist bullshit. Somehow being part of the crescent moon club makes you feel like you're invincible even if you're some idiot who can barely manage to tie your own shoes or get the top off of the deodorant container.

I think Matt and Trey will be fine. Salman Rushdie has gone more than two decades after writing a pretty serious novel about a couple of verses in the Qu'ran. He'd be higher on the list than a couple of cartoonists.

Disgruntled employees are disgruntled employees. It is common for disgruntled employees to complain just about anything about their boss. That has NOTHING do to with Islam nor being an immigrant. That just shows you're prejudiced against Muslims. Congratulations, you're a product of western propaganda and a bigot at that!

^^^ he was pointing out ur dislike for middle easterns conservative muslim employees
by saying that all employees or disgruntled employees complain behind the bosses back

the fact that they're middle-eastern or muslim for that matter is moot

so that would suggest ur likely a bigot

doh AK had to get inbetween there :P

implying that the employees were judging their boss for being white and that being white he was not as good of a boss as they would have been. El B was illustrating the immigrant employees bigoted behavior and thoughts, not his own.

guess you're going to have to start stating your intent along with every opinion El B just so no one gets confused...

Depending on the business, I think we can find that anywhere. Some people will always look for a reason to judge someone. I'm sure the same would have happened if the boss was black, a woman, a homosexual, a cyclops, a centaur, or even younger than them (or older).

:haha: yeah i agree... but man... working a mythological Greek being would SUCK! haha

OK to all you morons flaming me, instead of doing so why don't you try to explain to me why I was wrong? That episode was fucking retarded. All they did was try to fit in as many offensive jokes as they could into the episode. It was horribly written, a jumbled mess of stupid jokes. The intro was like they were starting a different story then decided to change it to "let's make fun of all the religions" in the middle of the episode. Whoever wrote this episode was either on drugs or are mentally retarded.

But if you liked it so much, tell me why. It will be a lot harder to do than flaming me, that's for sure.

Honestly I thought I was being clear. I appreciate Josh for clarifying my point. I was trying to re-iterate it by citing the Rushdie situation.

Anyhow, the truth is that they were the bigoted ones.

It was part 2. You have to be a fan and have watched a lot of South Park episodes to get the jokes. It was an episode for the hard core fans and not the casual viewer. I'm just surprised there was no Manbearpig unless I missed it.

SkinnyPupp 04-22-2010 06:49 PM

The show is good for the most part. I really enjoyed the KFC episode. But I want to know why people thought this episode was good, and why people saw the need to start going after me for saying it wasn't.

the 200th episode was basically a collection of all that has happened in south park and everyone they have come across, from Phil Collins to Ginger kids. If you watch some of the episodes you'll notice that some have a deeper meaning. Whats kinda ironic though is that they actually did an episode where people tend to look for meaning within things (in this case a stupidly retarded book).

edit* first few episodes that were created were simply retarded though, I admit that

SkinnyPupp 04-22-2010 06:51 PM

So they made an episode that makes no sense to most people. That makes it a shitty episode for anyone who didn't watch the last 10 years of South Park.

BTW thanks to the people for manning up and actually responding to my questions about the show, and not continuing to flame me. That was very mature of you guys

Actually, this episode got us talking about Islamic radicals, prejudice, and a hint of censorship. I think it accomplished SOMETHING. hahah

They weren't going after you for not liking the episode, but for saying they have to be retards for liking it.

Well I guess I was wrong then... The writing was crap, the jokes were stupid, but I guess that was the joke in itself. The show was making fun of itself for being so bad with all the inside jokes. I did recognize Mickey Mouse from an episode I watched last year :lol

1exotic 04-22-2010 07:16 PM

Islamic terrorist all should be hanged in public because they smell and are retarded.

South Park is so awesome.
