haha i just got mine and it says Licesed too. fuk the slim profile is such ah PITA to take off. I got it really stuck the first time i attached it which is to a stepdown ring i got as well. Had to grip the ring with pliers and fuk up the thread slightly. The glass is AWESOME though. super finger print resistant and is very transparent compared to other CPL's. BARELY any vignetting on a 16-35L stacked with a Super HMC UV. |
^ Ok that makes me feel a bit better. Where did you buy it from? A reputable dealer? Time to invest in filter wrenches maybe?? lol. The filter does seem to be very high quality. |
i got it from maxsaver. hmm filter wrench, i just thought to myself there must be some sort of tool like a wrench for filters 15 mins ago haha. |
These suckers are quite strong! |
broadway camera is having B+W MRC UV on sale now. bought my 58mm and 52mm for $39.99/$33.99. |
Finally got a chance to try out the Hoya HD CPL filter since the weather was nice finally. Pretty happy with the results.. CPL makes a ton of difference when shooting outdoors when the sun/clouds are out. I almost never take my CPLs off even shooting indoors. I find that it helps minimize reflection on glass when shooting from the inside out. |
Anyone have any experience shooting with a 77mm CPL using a 72-77 step up ring? My concern is at the wide end- I'm wondering how much (if any) vignetting there will be using the ring. It's not terribly wide ~18mm |
getting a cpl off a stepup ring is a bitch. |
bought my Hoya HD CPL 58mm for $66 all in!!! came in 4 working days from hong kong!!! soo fast.. couldnt believe it was already here, also my knock off battery grip came in which seems to be decent quality |
