advice re: changing file resolution Wow okay so no more creating threads while on my phone So I need advice on how to change the resolution of a file so that it will print as 34x26" without pixelation. Currently the file is the appropriate size but only 72dpi. Any advice? Posted via RS Mobile |
Cannot be done. You cant eat a hot dog, poo it out and then turn it back into a hot dog. |
once u say 72dpi it can't be done printing in color needs to be i think 300dpi or higher |

Inaii: What is your original image size? There is a piece of software called Genuine Fractals that is really good at re-sizing, but it's not very cheap. |
Uncheck resample image and just adjust the dpi. The pixelation depends on your initial image resolution. changing the dpi has no affect on your pixelation. |
Senna: Original image size was 3200x2400 pixels (approx. since I'm no longer at work and can't look it up). I told her that likely she wouldn't be able to blow it up to make a print since it was a very low resolution to begin with. J_____: sorry could you explain what you mean? I'm not following the last bit. |
