advice re: changing file resolution

Wow okay so no more creating threads while on my phone
So I need advice on how to change the resolution of a file so that it will print as 34x26" without pixelation. Currently the file is the appropriate size but only 72dpi. Any advice?

Cannot be done.

You cant eat a hot dog, poo it out and then turn it back into a hot dog.

once u say 72dpi it can't be done

printing in color needs to be i think 300dpi or higher

No, wrong.

Inaii: What is your original image size? There is a piece of software called Genuine Fractals that is really good at re-sizing, but it's not very cheap.

Uncheck resample image and just adjust the dpi. The pixelation depends on your initial image resolution. changing the dpi has no affect on your pixelation.

Senna: Original image size was 3200x2400 pixels (approx. since I'm no longer at work and can't look it up). I told her that likely she wouldn't be able to blow it up to make a print since it was a very low resolution to begin with.

J_____: sorry could you explain what you mean? I'm not following the last bit.
