DSi flashcard question
 

Iam buying another ds for my brother cuz his old r4 card is not supporting the newer games even with patching.

What is the best flashcard to get because there is so many fake r4 cards around.
I heard acekard?

meh i got a fake r4 for 15bux ~ and it works just fine.. so as long as it works.. good enough for me

acekard 2i gets my vote. Works on XL with 1.4.

I had DSTT before and tried out a R4i, but there are some of the rom won't work in those 2 works fine in Acekard 2i.

Got it for $20.

lil brother wanted his really bad so I went to crystal mall and got it for $50 how you guys get it so cheap?

btw, aceKard 2i needs firmware update if you have dsi 1.4+. meaning u need a old ds lite or dsi with firmware 1.3 and older.

Took less than 1 minute to do the update.

For my DSi, I'm using the Acecard2i and I'm playing every single game with no problem. Including the new Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver with no black screens or freezes. No saved game problems either. Runs 100% smoothly and is very user-friendly.

Download the AKAIO Firmware 1.6RC1 firmware (google this. It's available in the official acekard site.)

Trust me, I researched this pretty thoroughly. Just make sure you don't buy a cloned Acekard2i (you can google and research how to distinguish between a genuine one and a fake.)

what's a good reseller online? the discussion from DX or VR doesn't seem to suggest any fake ones...

what do these cards do?

^they hold DS roms so you can just download games. also makes it easier to switch from game to game.

i wanted to buy Dr. Mario from the nintendo shop but then it wanted me to update and i wasn't sure if that'd render my acekard 2i useless ...
