Lol they just deflated however many tens of millions of dollars spent to fix the torn roof. imagine if you were in the middle of the roof when it was deflated. that woulda been awesome

I imagine if it was raining when they deflated it would have been disastrous...water would have collected quickly and eventually torn at the bottom to drop a swimming pool's worth on the field...

Damn, new roof by 2011. New entertainment complex by 2013.

imo, the new roof design looks nice. but with the addition of the new complex to be attached, it looks ugly. since its not just an oval stadium anymore, plus the two towers that stick up just as tall as the cable suspensions.

wait, so only the field part is going to be open to the elements while the people are still covered by the roof?

i thought they were going to go for a safeco field kind of roof.

video shows the whole thing being covered, but by 2 sections. 1 being the outer edge you see in almost all the pictures. and 2 being the centre circle above the jumbotron.
