When this big truck driving hill billy gets into his lowered car or truck and gets blinded by another hill billy with a lifted hill billy truck, guess what I flip up my mirror but I guess only hillbillies have this skill.

Once I deem they have tailgaited long enough I will simply touch the brake peddle so the light comes on; they get two servings of this. Once that has been completed they will get a very large brake test... If for some fucked up reason they're still tailgaiting me after that i'll prolly just lock up a wheel or something.

Your just as bad as them if your going to brake check them. Its very easy to spot the stupid and smart drivers, and your post just put you in the stupid category.

It sounds like you met a truck that wasn't very nice to you.

wasabisashimi 05-05-2010 02:07 PM

can we conclude HIDs are overused in all kinds of cars, without proper lens

Jayboogz 05-05-2010 02:16 PM

I drive a truck, silverado 2500. Lol I use it for work. Sorry if I blind you because everything is factory? I usually drive pretty slow 55 in da city I give myself lotsa distance due to excess 2000+lbs in my truck bed. Just move to a diff lane if trucks r blinding u? Even I get blinded sometimes -_-

Don't regret lowering... I do however regret using race springs instead of sports springs. Ride is way too rough.

Question though, if being too low is against the law, isnt being too high also against the law? I've seen some trucks that are SO high it looks like the dude driving would need a ladder to get in

yes

slammer111 05-05-2010 04:01 PM

My 1 regret for lowering my car is that it is that much easier to scrape those stupid barrier things when parking head-first.

GabAlmighty 05-05-2010 04:06 PM

What's the law on raising your truck? How high is too high? Bottom of the body no higher than the top of the tire?

124Y 05-05-2010 04:07 PM

Let's not forget those who have their highbeams on unknowingly 24/7.

mas604 05-05-2010 04:27 PM

sometimes...like you mentioned getting blinded sucks, driving during winter sucks and getting over speed bumps and my drive way sucks cause I scrap.

orange7 05-05-2010 04:39 PM

Do I regret lowering my car(s)? Apart from the occasional setup that was designed for a smooth track and not the street, no. Do I regret it because it's easier to have headlights affect me? Again, no. Despite the fact that I live in an area of the Lower Mainland that's surrounded by lifted trucks, I find that aftermarket HID's in halogen housings are faaaar more distracting to me than OEM lights in trucks.

TRD Rs200 05-05-2010 08:21 PM

lowered and never looked back

Si 05-05-2010 09:31 PM

for those who drive in the snow (if vancouver ever gets any more  ) is it a big problem?
