they're doing this because there is a new recipe. I personally think it tastes gross and watered down.. Had one today and had them remake it becuase it tasted too bland but apparently thats how they're made now.

i heard they stopped using frappuccino mix and just add more syrup to milk so they use more "real" ingredients, making it "healthier"

Fuck, I was thinking the exact same thing. Those things have sooooo much sugar and it doesn't really help that I always used to get them with a shot of espresso.

Bit of a gong-show at my usual Starbucks outlet. I guess people are in the Friday-weekend mood - I saw one Chinese woman order a Venti with whip.

I ordered a grande coffee frap with 2% milk and no whip. $2.07.

Went to the Starbucks right by the Steam Clock a few minutes after three, and the lineup was well out the front door... so I said to hell with that... went back down at 3:45pm and it was much better... probably waited about 10 minutes total before getting my grande caramel frap...

went at 3 and no line up at 49th and fraser location
enjoyed my grande caramel light frap @ $2.30

The only difference between a regular and a plain is just the whip cream.
The one at Killarney Market is pretty much a disappointment. Try to avoid that location.

All new Fraps are now made with real milk and coffee shots. Before they had coffee base mix and cream base mix. I got a green tea frap and it tastes better now with real milk.

NO kidding, my sister got transferred to work there for a day, she came back saying how trashy the MGMT is, the co-workers, the customers, everything

Avoid the Killarney Market location at all costs.

^lol I went to the Killarney Market one yesterday.

No lineup, so I just ordered and was in and out. Nothing to complain about, but I never go to that location. I was just in the area and remembered they were half off so I went.

went in n tried the mocha light.. its not that great

The one inside Sheraton on Westminster isn't honoring the deal. Apparently all the Starbucks inside hotels/Safeways are not owned by Starbucks and they can choose if they wanna do the deal or not....Damn.....:cry:

Then goto another one, it's not like there's a shortage of Starbucks in the lower mainland anyway.

I've had like 4 since Friday, dammit so much for my once a week Starbucks promise.
