Dave Audé is definitely one of those easy-going yet eccentric types. It is this unconventional combo that brings such presence and personality to his music and has brought him acclaim from both his fans and his contemporaries. There’s no pretentiousness or slickness to Audé. He’ll tell you straight up “it’s about the music, it always is.” Indeed it is.

Audé has sure made 2009 an exciting one thus far – an un-precedented 42 #1 Billboard tracks (and counting), his Audacious Records imprint introducing a myriad of fans to deliciously insane beats, serving as Music Director for the 2009 Pussycat Dolls Tour, crafting music for the feature film ‘Nine’ and now Ultra 2010 – a 24-track double disc set of ferocious kick-ass beats.

As Ultra 2010 hits the shelves and the Net, Audé hits the road, to some of his favorite cities like St. Louis and Denver and to some of the greatest havens of dance music including New York and Detroit. This new double disc incorporates Aude’s technical precision alongside his amazing ear for excitable music. Some of the breathtaking tracks include NASA feat Kanye West – ‘Gifted“ (Treasure Fingers Remix), Tiesto – “Feel It In My Bones,” Haley – “This Is How It Goes” (Kaskade’s Grand Club Edit) and Britney Spears – ‘If You Seek Amy,” as well as several of his very own chart-topping remixes that include Pussycat Dolls – “When I Grow Up” and Lady Gaga – “Pokerface.”

When digging a little deeper into his inspiration, he states matter-of-factly, “I find that being on the road keeps me connected, not only with the music, but with what really gets and keeps people on the dance floor.” When looking over his career, it is clear this philosophy has carried through all the way back to his humble roots.

From his early days doing double duty; as a member of Lunatic Fringe and serving as in-house producer at seminal Indie dance imprint, Moonshine Music, Audé developed his true sense of musical style; not being pigeonholed. It is his love of the never-ending beat that provides him the unique ability to experiment from anything like faster BPM to more subtle nuances. "I’m always looking for a new sound or something different,” he states. “I think I would get bored if I stuck with a stereotypical ‘signature’ sound.” It is this flexibility that makes him so popular with artists and fans – keeping us on our toes and on the dance floor.

Since he first emerged at Moonshine in the ‘90s, Audé has run up an astonishing roster of hits—42 #1 Billboard successes and counting—both under his own name (his 2007 chart-topper “Make It Last,” featuring Jessica Sutta of Pussycat Dolls) and in service of other artists, including U2, Beyoncé, Pussycat Dolls, Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado, Donna Summer, Sean Kingston, and Diddy.

For everything Audé’s achieved, he remains pretty grounded. It is abundantly apparent that he’s more about the music than he is about living the high-flying, drama-filled life of a ‘rock star’. “I give everything I’ve got when working on a project,” he states. “I find that I am more at home in the studio.”

As his success continues to build, it’s Audé’s music that does the talking. His trajectory may be a little non-traditional, but Audé wears it like a glove.

Dave Audé is the man that professionals turn to when they want amazing music. Dave’s chameleon-like skills allow him to succeed within any genre of music – from Pop to Rock, from Hip Hop to Electronic. The thing is, his methodology doesn’t change – be it remixing, producing, DJing or writing new tunes. Dave Audé is the consummate professional who delivers the goods every single time.
