hows the compression? does it burn oil?
whats the reason for swaping in the JDM b18C? i assume its the (type R spec)

k3n 05-17-2010 12:52 PM

compression was even across the cylinders.
oil being burnt? nothing significant.
reason for swap: my friend was jdm'ing his itr, was not aware of potential issues with jdm -> usdm, shop told him nothing about these problems (or knew how to fix them), headaches insued, car sold, engine still around.

to clear this up, my friend did not decide he wanted to buy a JDM engine at first, but a former revscene SPONSERED shop turned a bad clutch into a bad engine swap SALE.

Please keep this thread clean, and if you are interested I suggest you come take a look at it, its a clean block. And I have priced this reasonably, as both me and my friend do not own honda/acura's anymore.
To the people showing intrest, I have PM'd you back.

k3n 07-02-2010 02:35 PM

TTT
price is OBO
sorry bout the slow responses, don't go on RS as much as I used to.

spoon.ek9 07-02-2010 07:25 PM

are you willing to bring the engine to a shop for leak down test? paid for by me, of course.

k3n 07-17-2010 03:10 AM
