I will hide my watch in my congee/noodles for sure.
They can take my wallet if they want. I can easily cancel all my credit cards and replace my driver license.

elwell 05-11-2010 08:05 PM

i was there last night between 11pm-12am good thing i wasnt there when it was getting robbed

dat_steve 05-11-2010 09:39 PM

ah that sucks. but when you're hungry at 3am there aren't many places where you can get that sub-par "hor fun" you crave so i'm sure this wont hurt business too much. the incident reminds me of pulp fiction.

BITCH, BE COOL!
TELL YO BITCH TO BE COOL!

can you shut the fuck up and stop typing using thi s pseudo-chinese font?

G 05-11-2010 09:44 PM

This was the first story on the 7:00 chinese news on ch 180 or whatever...They didn't say the restaurant name but had lots of video footage of Lansdowne mall/center.. They also interviewed a lady that remained anonymous and she said that the ppl that robbed the place spoke in english and stuff. Police found the car but that's all they are going to say....

So how much did you get?

Mr.HappySilp 05-11-2010 10:18 PM

That's why I only hang out at the casnio at late night. Even if the casnio were rob most likely the thief is too busy to try the customer there.

eclipseman 05-11-2010 10:37 PM

casinos are more secure than banks...would be stupid to rob a casino and think you wouldn't get caught.

Awesome 05-11-2010 10:42 PM

not really surprised by this at all. especially when the cash register is right at the entrance.

LiquidTurbo 05-11-2010 11:10 PM

I wonder how much $$ they ran off with. Also, whats the chance they'll be able to catch these guys?

DanHibiki 05-11-2010 11:21 PM

the casinos are the real theives

milkmilk101 05-11-2010 11:58 PM

popo here in van is soo fucking inefficient. so many cases remain unsolved. If discovery channel ever do a "vancouver unsloved police cases" show, they can split in in at least 10 seasons. Wonder why popo get paid so much!!

milkmilk101 05-12-2010 12:01 AM

And so what if the robbers got caught? how many years they gona serve?

johny 05-12-2010 12:25 AM

this doesn't happen in the states cause the customers shoot back...

ae101 05-12-2010 02:56 AM

serious this is pretty scary in so many ways since the food at no.9 taste like crap which scares me off already & then ppl rob u makes it even scarier

plus if u have never been robed u won't know how it feels like, cuz i have & i know, & was the robberies carry a real shot gun or a fake one??? & did he shot blanks/safety bullets or real ones??? cuz it's not easy to obtain a shot gun

(i know i might sound like an ass on this post so i do apologize for that)

SkinnyPupp 05-12-2010 03:40 AM

No. 9 used to have really good roast duck, but that was about it.

JV6 05-12-2010 06:46 AM

Damn, I go there once in a while for late night meals with my friends. No shotgun is going to stop me from eating there :)

Tim Budong 05-12-2010 08:08 AM

:fuuuuu:

do u have sum china language program that fucks you and your fonts up?

achiam 05-12-2010 08:43 AM

Wow haven't been to #9 since last summer.
I used to go a lot in my drinking days, and the night Manager David knew me from way back at Ming's Karaoke in Chinatown.
The first time I left Vancouver I didn't come back for a year and went straight there off the plane. He saw me and was like "wow! you haven't been here in like 2 or 3 weeks!"

hirevtuner 05-12-2010 09:02 AM

if i was at the point of being robbed, i would crawl btw tables toward the bathroom and call the cops right away

risk getting caught and catch a bullet in the face after they beat you down? call me selfish but there ain't nothing i carry on me that is worth dying for. Call the cops secretly, maybe being a hero in a hold up situation where i'm unarm is not worth it:\

at least the restaurant will be fully cover by insurance, the customer that were hold up, is there anyway they can seek compensation?

unit 05-12-2010 09:42 AM

^i dont think their insurance company would be too keen on paying for customers belongings.
