Polarizer for a panasonic fz28 (where to find) anyone know where to find a polarizer for a panasonic fz28 in vancouver?? i need one in a couple days before i leave on vacation |
I can't really tell from the pictures whether there's a thread to screw a polarizer onto it. If there isn't then you'll have to get the lens adapter for it. According to a Google search, it shows it as 55mm diameter. If that's the case, then these should fit: Kerrisdale Camera Broadway Camera London Drugs (Not a big fan of Tiffen, but I guess if LD is all you can get to, then it's better than nothing) |
LD also has the Sigma filters. But you'll need the DMW-LA3 to attach filters... Any of the stores should be able to special order one in. |
http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...ssage=29023345 supposedly i can just use a generic 46mm filter without an adapter but those 3 sites dont have anything with 46mm... |
http://www.vistek.ca/store/CameraFil...-lx3-fz28.aspx I think Vistek is in AB? Pretty pricey filter though. I'm sure you can find some cheapies on eBay as well if you don't want to pay north of $90 for a CPL for your camera (I saw a kit for $14.50 but I guess those are really buyer beware). 46mm is somewhat camcorder territory so you may have some luck if you go find a local store that specializes in Camcorders or check the camcorder section of the big box retailers. |
