Home Network/Router - Connecting 2 routers?
I have a wireless router on the ground floor of the house. However, I want to connect some of my PC to the router wired. (They are in 2/F)
The builder already pre-routed the cabling required to each rooms on the ground floor and 2nd floor, but everything stem from the basement.
Right now, I routed the network cable from the router (G/F) to the basement, and back up to a room on the 2/F.
However, I can only connect 1 PC this way, and I want to do the same to 3 PC.
What's the best way to do it?
I am thinking of putting another router down in the basement, so I have the modem+wireless router on the G/F, connected by wire to the basement router, and connect that to 3 rooms/PC on the 2/F.
However, I am not sure how connecting 2 routers in series would work. Do i need to set it up specifically? or do i simply connect the LAN of the 1st router to the Internet/WAN of the 2nd router?
