yeah it works.... but steer clear for regular cleaning if you have uncoated, polished wheel surfaces because it will turn it cloudy grey. i had no choice because i had a lot of burnt-on brake dust that had to come off, but all that cloudiness comes off with a lot of elbow grease and aluminum wheel polish.

also, if you have a pressure washer on a moderate to light pressure setting, you won't even need to brush or rub like in the video... everything comes off after the presoak.

i use to use it all the time :) it works great on all wheels

Holeshot 06-01-2010 10:05 PM

now try using just the dirty ass rag with soap and water, it'll look just as clean. elbow grease did most of the work, not the wheel cleaner. the best wheel cleaners will take rust off the calipers and rotors as well as burn holes through clothes. Good job thou

That's cool, lord knows it's cheap enough.

I used to use Eagle One All wheel and tire cleaner, and was happy with that stuff at $10 a bottle.

Tried some Black Magic Ti or whatever the hell it is, cause it was on sale, and it SUCKS big time. I'm using a ton of it on my wheels when I wash, mainly because I need to, but also to burn trough it so I can go buy something else, lol.

I'd love to know some other really good wheel cleaners. I hear the Auto Glym wheel cleaner is good too.

P21S wheel cleaner. more pricey but completely safe for your wheels.

thumper 06-04-2010 05:41 AM

P21S is nice, but pricey for the small amount they give you... it dosen't cloud up polished finishes. however, when i was struggling to get off all that armor all wheel protector crap i had the misfortune of using, P21S could not get off, but orange blast did.

Is it better than the Autoglym custom wheel cleaner?

E30's brakes are SUPER dusty, and when combined with BBS basketweaves they are a terrible combination.
