Wow. So that's the accident I heard from my balcony while BBQ'íng. Glad to see you are safe. Hey at least the ICBC centre is close by there.

ak6 05-17-2010 05:30 PM

wow, definitely a good thing that there were no cars driving through that intersection.

Jer3 05-17-2010 06:11 PM

haha holy shit he must have been going fast to launch you that far into the middle of the intersection. glad to see your fine though.

Senna4ever 05-17-2010 07:10 PM

Holy shit....are you hurt? Your Volvo did a good job absorbing a lot of the impact energy. Hope you're ok...it'll hurt after the initial shock wears off. :(

Matsuda 05-17-2010 08:18 PM

i have headaches and my back is sore now, i think over the next few days it'll be worse. Adding insult to injury I got a little blue toyota yaris as a rental. 105hp of plastic. I'm in plastic hell.

Yeah I'm glad it didn't come to that for me. My S40 was a 2002 and I'm pretty sure it shares the same platform as the focus and mazda 3

DuhDang 05-17-2010 09:23 PM

GET A LAWYER

GabAlmighty 05-17-2010 09:31 PM

HEY MATSUDA I THINK YOU SHOULD GET A LAWYER

Ya, t'is a ford unfortunately. Still a decent car though, lots of potential with those engines. Even if it's a Ford, sorry to see it off the road.

Petelim 05-17-2010 09:46 PM

Hey Matsuda,

if you haven't seen icbc yet, you should go see them, see your doctor, etc. ICBC will give you 12 treatments of your doctor or your choice for 8 weeks starting on the day of your accident. ICBC will subsidize a portion of the treatments and you will be left to pay the remaining amount. If you get a lawyer, they might help you pay for your treatments initially so you won't have to pay up front. Hope you feel better soon.

Fafine 05-17-2010 09:59 PM

lawyer get one asap if you havent already. but damn so luck no car was going into the intersection or else it wouldve been like a scene from final destination.

elwell 05-17-2010 10:19 PM

wow civic are build to last

Matsuda 05-17-2010 10:20 PM

yeah I talked to a lawyer today already, thanks for your advice guys. I've already went to the doctor, talked to the lawyer, made an ICBC claim, and arranged the car to be towed to a garage to get it checked out. I also saved some ads showing how much it would be to replace my car with a similar year model so I think all I can do is wait right now till an adjuster calls me.

Boostslut 05-17-2010 11:51 PM

Crazy stuff! Glad that hear that you're allright! Looks like the Volvo did its job nicely!

you! 05-18-2010 09:10 PM

this all happened when a truck in front of us dropped the couch in a really dark freeway with no lights around 10pm, it was a black leather couch too which made it harder to see... fkin douche didnt even stop

Honestly, how can he not have paid attention in that situation? He has to turn left or right, so he has to stop or slow down anyways.

Matsuda 05-20-2010 01:48 PM

ICBC called me today to say my car is being written off. Goodbye Volvo =(

hirevtuner 05-20-2010 02:55 PM

jtanner_ 05-20-2010 03:27 PM

Matsuda 05-20-2010 05:02 PM
